Can You Build A Tolerance To Cat Allergies Please Help!! Feline Miliary Dermatitis Treatments? Steroids Are Not Working.?

Please Help!! Feline Miliary Dermatitis treatments? Steroids are not working.? - can you build a tolerance to cat allergies

We have 5 men, aged tabby. When I was about 2, we have identified, said scabs on the ears and the vet, it was miliary dermatitis. He received an injection of steroids, be clarified. The following year she began to get scar tissue around the chin and neck, and even take on steroids deleted.

This year, the crusts on his chin, neck and back of his hind legs and strokes will not be cleaned. The vet gave him 2 shots not helped so far. There are about 3 weeks pill was prescribed prednisolone (steroid) to help get them. My cat is now immune to steroids?

The vet said the condition is due to allergies of one type, and the only treatment is steroids can offer. I do not give my cat steroids because it makes it very hyperactive, and it also provides for the establishment of a tolerance.

I asked the vet about giving something like Benadryl, because there is an allergy, and she just said that steroids were better. My cat has a flea treatment revolution every month, so it can by fleas. You know what can be other allergies?

If your cat has this problem, please tell me what you are doing. I do not know what could be a result of their allergies. But I fear that we will put it to sleep in the next two years because his skin looks worse and not steroids, and to help!

  2. Find a source of fungi. You can also try a different cat food. Perhaps with less than complete. Cats are not naturally meant to eat large quantities of grain. But whatever may be a Kitty help other foods. See if you can get an antifungal agent for the cat. There is also an antifungal shampoo called Malaseb, and you can solve this problem.

"The cat has fleas? In this case, try the flea bath with soap to wash the dishes. Use a metal flea comb on his head and ears if the outliers. Repeat in two weeks.
