I know this question sounds terrible, but I write a crime novel. If someone has a radio in the pool, it would be killed like in the pool enough to surprise? "And the murderer would be possible to remove the radio on some rubber feet? It seems likely that the victim was struck by lightning? Thank you.

Yes, if the house was not protected by a circuit breaker earth leakage circuit breaker, and the radio industry was hit. It is obvious that the battery is not.
