Can I determine my chances of getting pancreatic cancer since my mother died of this? - pancreatic cancer. more condition_symptoms

My mother died of pancreatic cancer and my only brother of glioblastoma multiforme (brain tumor). My mother was in her 70, but my brother was only 50 when he died. I am 51 and I'm more about my chances of developing cancer of the pancreas troubles and whether they demonstrate the tumor marker for this disease.

  1. This link provides information about pancreatic cancer, inheritance and detection methods.

They say that 1 will be inherited in 10 cases because of an abnormal gene. People with a close relative - father or brother - a cancer of the pancreas have a higher risk, but if someone was in the family (besides his mother, where applicable), it is unlikely to have been caused by an abnormal gene.
